Domingo Barrios has worked for 27 years in the nonprofit sector. During his tenure as a nonprofit executive, he has held titles with prominent organizations as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Development Officer, Vice President of Community Investing, Executive Director, and President of his own consulting firm. His expertise has spanned the healthcare and human services sectors, as well as in the field of philanthropy. Domingo is currently board chair of the Rockwell Fund, a $100 million private foundation in Houston, TX, a member of the advisory council of the University of Texas, RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service, and a board member of Philanthropy Southwest. In addition to his nonprofit experience, Domingo has expanded his professional experience to include the financial for-profit-sector with Prudential Insurance Company of America as a financial professional. Currently, he is a Vice President, Community Development Officer with Cadence Bank. He holds a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Domingo is a native of Panama and a long-time resident of Houston, Texas. He is married to Gina, and they have a son, Adriel.
