Juan Sheenan

Honduras Country Director, Catholic Relief Services

The RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service welcomed Juan Sheenan of Catholic Relief Services, to the UT campus on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Juan shared his experience on how to build a career in the international development field.

As country representative for Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Juan Sheenan is responsible for all CRS activities in Honduras, including overseeing its relationship with partner agencies and managing development projects with an annual budget of $9 million. Mr. Sheenan has also worked in Angola, Zambia, Mozambique, and Namibia. His professional experience includes HIV/AIDS program design and implementation, participatory community needs assessment, and sustainable development. He holds a master’s degree in International Policy Studies and a certificate in Public Administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
