This hybrid event is co-hosted with the Policy Alliance for Communities of Color (PACC), a student group from the LBJ School. Join us for a conversation about centering and empowering communities of color in philanthropy. Our panelists will discuss different ways they drive social change in their communities by centering the experiences of people of color and how alternative funding practices like trust-based philanthropy and giving circles can be used to empower communities. Attendees have the chance to submit questions they would like to be considered for the panel when registering for the event. This will be a hybrid event, with both an in-person and virtual component. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
