    Charlee Garden

    Faculty Fellow


    Charlee Garden is a leadership development consultant, professor, Ironman triathlete, consummate learner and mother. With over 25 years of experience in the organizational effectiveness field, she brings her expertise and dedication to every client interaction. She is known for her insight and humor.

    • How to lead when you aren't in charge

    • How to lead when you are in charge and it's not working

    Garden has developed long-standing relationships with some of the most respected names in the business world, and continues to build a solid track record of success. Her recent clients range from Google to Goldman Sachs. While her clients are diverse, all of them approach their work with passion for creating an impact. Charlee is committed to leadership education and research. She is currently a clinical associate professor at LBJ, where she was awarded most engaging professor for both 2017–18 and 2018–19.

    Garden recently initiated a partnership between LBJ and the Office of Student Affairs to launch Leadership at Scale, an experiment-focused approach to developing the leadership capacity of all students. One impactful experiment, CoachUT, offers professional leadership coaching to Student Affairs employees.
