Stepha Dragoon

Degree: Master of Social Work and Master of Public Affairs

"The portfolio program at the RGK Center bolstered my passion for social impact initiatives and gave me invaluable tools to pursue my professional mission of centering underrepresented voices throughout the decision-making process."

Aaron Escajeda

Degree: Master of Social Work and Master of Public Affairs

"Pursuing a dual master's in social work and public affairs, the RGK Center's Portfolio Program in Nonprofit Studies just seemed like the perfect fit. Through the portfolio program, I gained invaluable skills that will help me tackle some of the most difficult challenges of our time. During the interview process, I talked about my time at the RGK Center and could tell that it was a valuable experience. I will quickly put to work the skills that I learned through the RGK portfolio program as I start a career in public service and non-profit management as a Program Officer for the Trafficking Victims Assistance Program at the national headquarters for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants in the DC area."

Sonja Hartley

Degree: Master of Public Affairs

"The portfolio program was a guidestar during my time at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. The program faculty and staff tirelessly shared their wisdom and passion for this work and offered me invaluable experiential opportunities to grow as a professional."
